The Oval Invisible Clasp effectively provides a perfect niche for charms to dangle from, and the bails act as anchor points for chain links .The incognito hinge sits along the bottom part of the left wing, and it snaps open and shut smoothly for easy sliding in (and off) of chain links, charms and other clasps/connectors.
