Open the Bangle:
Hold the bangle on both sides and gently open it sideways just enough to slide over the customer’s wrist. Keep the tube bar handy for the next step.
Attach the Tube:
Slide the tube bar onto the bangle wire. Align the holes on the tube with the holes on each end of the wire, adjusting until they match perfectly.
Insert the Rivet:
With pliers, insert the rivet (red mark first) through the aligned holes of the bangle and tube. If properly aligned, it will slide in easily. Once in place, you’re ready to rivet the Permanent Bangle.
Rivet the Bangle:
Position the riveting pliers over the rivet, making sure the grooves hold both ends of the pin. For accuracy, use a magnifier. Hold the pliers at a 90° angle and apply pressure to set the rivet—the built-in stopper prevents over-squeezing. Release, then repeat with the second rivet. Inspect the bangle to confirm both rivets are secure.

Gold filled wire is made by bonding a thick layer of gold to a brass or alloy core. Unlike plated gold, which uses only a thin coating, gold-filled contains at least 5% real gold by weight—making it stronger, longer-lasting, and more resistant to tarnish. Compared to vermeil (gold over sterling silver), gold-filled offers greater durability at a more accessible price. Our Permanent Bangles also include an extra layer of gold plating for added strength and shine.
